HR Generalist

San Francisco, CA

We are looking for an exceptional, resourceful, and driven Human Resources Generalist to join our team as we scale our North American operations. The ideal candidate for this role is an experienced junior HR generalist looking to move into a role with more responsibilities and exciting growth opportunities.

This position is full-time and based in San Francisco, CA. You must be authorized to work in the United States.

In this position, you will:

  • Perform HR-related duties for our San Francisco and San Antonio offices, and provide back-up support for our Vancouver office
  • Manage and administer payroll, benefits, trainings, leaves of absence, and performance management
  • Assist in recruiting with vetting candidates, phone screens, scheduling onsites, offer paperwork, and candidate-to-employee transitions
  • Manage employee data, onboarding, and offboarding
  • Ensure the organization’s policies and procedures are administered consistently and are in compliance with state and federal regulatory requirements and laws
  • Oversee the completion and submission of any required compliance filings
  • Other HR and office administration as needed
  • This role is based in San Francisco but supports three offices: San Francisco, San Antonio, and Vancouver. As such, occasional travel may be required.

  • Highly enthusiastic about helping people and teams reach their fullest potential
  • Excellent communicator in both written and spoken communication, high comfort level with leading trainings and presenting to C-suite executives
  • Desire to grow the role to become a strategic partner in influencing company culture and values
  • Strongly self-motivated; you can get your work done in an environment with low oversight and high accountability
  • Tech and data-savvy; you’re typically an early adopter of new technology and you are often the one to discover and implement the latest assistive software at your workplaces
