Product Marketing Manager

Motic may be a newcomer in the medical space, but we are hardly a novice when it comes to creating technologies to solve deep-rooted problems. We made big waves in the global medical community last year when we launched our first products for digital pathology, and will be aggressively expanding our footprint and product reach in the global medical market in 2019.

The Product Marketing Manager will have a deep understanding of Motic products customer verticals, and competitive landscape. They will be a product evangelist and own the go to market plan for product launches and market communications throughout product life cycles. They will have the ability to grasp and translate technical capabilities into business benefits and develop product positioning, messaging and content that resonates with customers along each stage of the buying process.

This is a full-time position based out of our office in San Francisco, CA. You must be authorized to work in the United States.

In this position, you will:

  • Develop competitive intelligence framework and research, manage and provide key insights that will guide product requirements/positioning and strategic marketing initiatives.
  • Lead and develop product positioning and messaging that resonates with targeted buyers by understanding our brand, customer needs, product roadmap, market trends, and competitive landscape.
  • Create, manage and execute the product marketing strategy and integrated marketing campaigns for new and existing products to optimize reach, custome acquisition and retention.
  • Lead creation of thought-leading product marketing materials and content across digital and print communications such as customer literature, blogs, e-mails, videos, webinars, presentations, web copy, advertisement and trade show/event material.
  • Assess effectiveness of marketing programs on an ongoing basis, and report back to the business on required changes.
  • Collaborate closely with Motic’s marketing team members, project management organization, sales team and customer success team to achieve goals.

Does this sound like you?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration or directly related experience required. MBA a plus.
  • 5+ years of product marketing experience preferably in the SaaS environment or Medtech industry.
  • Strong planning and project management skills, with proven ability to oversee complex projects from origin to execution.
  • Exceptional collaboration abilities across multi-functional teams.
  • Strong sense of ownership, work ethic and self-motivation.
  • Experience in these additional marketing areas is a plus: Lead generation, CRM/marketing automation tools, email marketing, social media and branding
